Principal Message
My dear students, parents and staff members, it is truly my privilege to greet you with warm wishes and pray that God almighty shower you all with blessings in abundance.
I would like to begin with a quote about parenting from the Bible…
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)
Every child is unique in how they think, behave and react to situations and that is a result of their unique experiences at home, school and their friend circle. While at a crossroads, how an individual handles it depends on their personality. Moulding a child into an empathetic human being with a moral understanding to know right from wrong and to face hardships with a positive attitude is the combined responsibility of the parents and teachers. This conscious effort in bringing up a child will shape their future and set them on a path towards becoming contributing members of society.
In order to inculcate core values and build confidence and self respect in the children, our school provides the platform to showcase their prowess in academic as well as co-curricular activities. Through the means of the various activities conducted in our school, both the teachers as well as students themselves are able to identify their talents and strengths. This alone raises the confidence of the children and knowing their self worth helps in bringing about a positive outlook in them towards life. I can proudly say that each and every student at St Mary’s Malankara is given a voice and avenue to express themselves and to dream big.
I would also like to express my gratitude towards our teaching as well as non-teaching staff for their efforts and the guidance they provide to our beloved students. That being said, our children would not be able to grow in a positive environment and receive the encouragement they deserve without the cooperation and support system provided by their parents. Thank you parents for helping shape children for a better tomorrow.
May the Almighty Lord always protect and bless our school and all those associated with it.
